I was able to use the web cam to snap a picture of the Princess at rest after creating havoc in the house (it's tough work you know) LOL. She is such a Diva!! tee hee




Mike feels much better!!!! WHOO HOO!! To look at him today, you'd never know how bad he was yesterday. He had a horrible night again last night, but it doesn't seem to have bothered him today. He ate really well, has gone out a few times and even played with his sister for a couple of minutes. I am just so relieved.

Gidget is being a really good girl today too. (Don't wanna say that too loud since it could change any minute) LOL

I don't really have a lot to report today, but I wanted to give you all the good news of the day.

Hi Alex...

Last night I tried putting the leaf from the table up against the bed making a ramp for Mike to climb on... no luck. I wish he would realize that he "can" jump up. I really miss him being up there with him, even if he doesn't stay up there all night. When I finish here, I'm going to try using the leash and guiding him up on to the stool so he realizes how easy it could be. Wish me luck.

Give the little ones some gentle hugs and belly rubs from me and nose kisses from the Westie cousins.

Hi Joanna,

I read part of your post. I'm so sorry Mikey is just having such a rough time.

I got a step-stool for Shakespeare and in the beginning he wouldn't use it at all no matter how much I helped and showed him how to do it but after a bit he started trying to do it on his own more and more and now he jumps on anything just to get on the sofa or bed. He's been scaring me half to death when I sleep on the sofa because he has started jumping up on the glass coffee table and then right on top of me to get to the top of the sofa, like a cat. I think your guys did this too, acted like a cat on the sofa. I have to remember now to clear the table when I'm sleeping there or when I'm not home or else everything that is on top will go flying onto the floor.

Also, I have a little filing cabinet case with folders and stuff in it and then one of my laptop computers was on top of that but I noticed that he has been jumping on top of the laptop to get on the bed. So I had to move the laptop and just let him jump on the file box. He amazes me at how he will just jump on anything now because I had just the hardest time trying to get him to step on the step stool. So if you want to keep trying sometimes putting their favorite treat on the edge of the bed works.

Also, I saw your video. Thanks for leaving the link for me. It's so funny that when we try to tape our dogs they just sit there and stare at us. I have a digital cam as well and my guys can be playing all over each other but the second I turn on the cam they stop and just stare at me.
