HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIDGIE GOO..
YOU MADE IT!!!!

Oh My..
Look How She's Grown

Yep... one year old today. There were times I wasn't sure either she or I were going to get to this day.... but... we did it. LOL
I went to the butcher yesterday and got some great beef bones for her and Mike to celebrate with, but of course, I couldn't wait until today to give them to them. They were both sooooooo content with them all afternoon, until... Gidget almost got her face bit off. She is such a selfish little thing and after about an hour decided she wanted Mike's bone too. Well, we know THAT wouldn't happen, and he let her know it. I had to put her in her room with hers until he gave up on his.
Once he had had enough, he could care less if she got hold of it.

She must be feeling older today too, because (I don't believe this), I woke her up at 8:45!!! Sleepy gal this morning, or maybe just worn out from so much chomping on the bone last night. I sang Happy Birthday to her when I was letting her out of her room, and she looked at me like I was nuts... Mommy is "never" that wide awake in the morning (but then again it was later than usual too).

Mike had a really good night last night... again I'm grateful for that. But this morning he was acting like he was in pain... whining and crabby with his sister. When I changed his diaper, I noticed the granules are back... again, the size of grains of sand. There weren't many, but enough to cause him some pain. I gave him a Rimydl ... haven't had to give him one during the day for a long time. He seems a bit better now.

Hi Splight,

Naw.. don't want her to grow up (completely).. just enough to give me a bit of rest with the going outside so often and peeing when I don't hear her (or pay attention... bad Mommy) and with her incessant yipping when she sees either man or beast outside. Other than that.. I really do love her puppy antics.. she really does make me laugh. She's so full of personality, and those eyes... brother, just looking into those eyes can make you laugh out loud sometimes... she seems to talk to you with them.

Hugs to you and the kids!!

Ok.. gonna get going. If it stops raining later, I may take them both for a ride or at least a walk.. after all.. it is her birthday. ;-)
Have a wonderful weekend.

Love & Blessings

HAPPY BURFDAY GIDGET!!!!

We sooo glads u made it to one years old. LOL.
We hopes u learns to go pee outside. U big gurl now, we tinks u can stop tat ole peeing inside-k?

Love, Tuckie and Justice (and mommy)

splight, the boys just turned 6yo and 8yo--it's even hard for me to believe they are not still babies. Vets say "senior", etc.--it just doesn't seem possible.
It makes me so sad that the boys are 6 and 8...and yet I am so grateful they are--if u guys know what I mean. Tuck wasn't expected to live past his first BD.
We have had many close calls with both-so I shouldn't be sad at their ages -but I am.
Jo, hold that baby close--and I wish she would not get any older--well maybe a little. LOL.
Hugs,
Cindy
